As we bid farewell to March, it’s time to reflect on the whirlwind of events that unfolded during the past month. March was full of experiences that shaped our organisation. Let’s dive into the highlights.....

Charlie Stewart Signs to Watford Academy

Charlie, an electrifying winger, contributed to our U10 and U11 Junior Premier League squads.

He also participated in our U11 touring squad to Amsterdam, shining in numerous showcase games before finding his place at Watford FC.

Another fantastic talent pushed onto professional academy football.

Coaches Voice

The Coaches Voice expressed keen interest in our one-on-one sessions (1-2-1s) and even expressed a desire to visit us in person. Their intention? To capture our insights and experiences on film. It’s a testament to the value they place in our work and the impact it has.

Coach Kieran, Cam, Josh, and Mat all had their 1-2-1 sessions filmed followed by interviews, and these will be used on their website for other coaches to view.

These targeted efforts are essential for our collective growth and progress as a team at PSA.

European Tours to Italy & France

Our U8, U10, U12, and U13s went to Rimini in Italy and the boys did fantastic, The weather was lovely and hot, they all enjoyed being in a different country playing against lots of different football styles. As well as Italian teams we had a Croatian team across the age groups, so it really was great exposure for the boys. The opening ceremony was great, the boys all chanting PSA to make sure all the other teams knew who they were!

They didn't come home empty handed either, the U8s came in the Top 4 and picked up a trophy followed by the U10s winning the Silver Cup.

Our U14s had a great time in France, they were right near the beach and the boys really enjoyed having some training sessions on the beach. There was a high level of football at the tournament, and they managed to get to the final, unfortunatley they lost 1-0. A fantastic effort, hopefully next time they can bring the trophy home!

FC Emmen Tournament

Our U12s had an exciting tournament during the Easter weekend. Dutch team FC Emmen traveled all the way from Holland to compete against some of the top local English sides. It was an absolute privilege to face FC Emmen, and our boys performed very well. Although they narrowly missed out on the Silver cup in the final, they gained valuable experience.

We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to play against FC Emmen again! ⚽🏆

U14s In The JPL

The U14s’ outstanding performance in the JPL this season has resulted in them almost securing the top position in their league needing only 1 more point. This achievement signifies that they have outperformed all other teams in their age group, demonstrating exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination. Being league champions is a remarkable accomplishment, and it reflects their dedication and hard work throughout the season. 🏆⚽

Girls Showcase Games @ Colchester

Over the past month, we’ve taken various age groups of PSA Girls to showcase games against Colchester Girls teams. Although the journey is a bit of a drive, it doesn’t appear to faze the girls. All of the girls performed exceptionally well, and their teamwork and coordination have been a delight to witness.

We look forward to scheduling some more showcase games for the girls soon!

U13 Showcase Games @ Brighton

Recently, our U13s travelled to a Showcase game against Brighton & Hove Albion. Despite injuries and illness affecting our squad, we still managed to hold our own against a very good Brighton side. Their Head Coach, acknowledged it as their toughest game this season.
