As July comes to an end, it's time for a quick recap of our activities this month.

Costa Blanca Cup with the U16s
PSA’s U16 team travelled to Benidorm with Soccer Elite Tours and Tournaments to participate in the prestigious Costa Blanca Cup. The weather was absolutely perfect, adding to the excitement of this major tournament. The boys showcased incredible skill and determination, making it all the way to the final – the furthest that PSA has ever reached in this competition. Despite their outstanding performance, they narrowly missed out on the trophy, losing 1-0 due to a penalty. It was a heart-wrenching finish, but the team’s spirit remained high. With such a strong showing this year, there’s no doubt we will be back next year, more determined than ever to claim that trophy!
Futures Day
FUTURE’s Day on our full-time scholarships program was truly fantastic! 🤩 Our future full-time students had an enriching experience as they spent the day with us, gearing up for the upcoming year. The boys made the most of our facilities, utilising the gym, engaging in classroom activities, and participating in outdoor football training sessions. It was a rewarding day for everyone involved, filled with energy, learning, and teamwork. 💪⚽️
Tring U18s vs Stevenage Academy U18s
Our Tring Athletic U18s faced off against the Stevenage Academy U18s in a thrilling friendly match. The game was nothing short of spectacular, with both teams showcasing their skills and determination. The intensity on the field was fantastic, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats throughout. The warm summer evening added to the atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for such an exciting encounter. Our U18s truly shone, delivering an impressive performance that highlighted their talent and teamwork. 🌞
Showcase Games
PSA had an action-packed July with numerous showcase games across various age groups. Our U7s had an exciting match against Watford FC, while the U10s faced off against Crystal Palace. Both the U9s and U10s took on Reading, showcasing their skills and teamwork. The U11s - U13s had a thrilling encounter with QPR, and to cap it all off, our U14s played a competitive game against Spurs. It was a fantastic month of football, filled with great performances and memorable experiences for all our young players.
Open Trials Success
The PSA’s Open Trials have been a tremendous success this year, showcasing an impressive array of talent and enthusiasm. With the conclusion of the trials, we are thrilled to announce that our Academy and Elite teams have been selected, and we are eagerly anticipating the upcoming season’s fixtures. For those who missed the Open Trials, there’s still an opportunity to join us, applications for trials are available on our website.
