April 2025 Roundup

As April comes to an end, it's time for a quick recap of our activities.

3x JPL National Champions

We took four of our Regional Champion Academy teams to Warwick University for the National Champions Tournament — and the boys delivered in style!

Three out of our four age groups were crowned JPL National Champions: huge congratulations to our U9PA, U10A, and U10PA teams!
Unfortunately, our U11s Academy just missed out this time, but they remain proud London Regional Winners — and we’ll be back even stronger next year!

The boys should be incredibly proud of their performances — they are now National Champions!

Well done, lads!

Costa Daurada Tour - U15 Champs

This Easter, we embarked on an unforgettable journey to Spain to take part in the prestigious Costa Daurada Cup with our U10, U11, U12, U14, and U15 teams.

Blessed with beautiful weather and surrounded by a vibrant atmosphere, we had the privilege of competing against top international teams from every corner of the globe. The sheer diversity and level of competition made this tournament a truly global event and an incredible opportunity for our players to showcase their skills on an international stage.

Our teams made a strong impression throughout the tournament. The U10s, U11s, and U15s all advanced to the finals, each match filled with intensity and high-level football. The U15s stood tall under pressure and proudly brought home the championship trophy with a well-deserved win in the final.

It was a remarkable experience for everyone involved - players, coaches, and parents alike. The memories made and lessons learned on and off the pitch will stay with us for a lifetime.

Spain, thank you for an incredible adventure, we’ll be back!

Holland Easter Open

Our U10, U11, and U12 teams travelled to the Netherlands to compete in the Holland Easter Open.

It was a challenging and rewarding experience, with our players facing strong international opposition and getting a real taste of Dutch football culture. The boys approached each game with focus and determination, learning valuable lessons on and off the pitch.

Beyond the football, the tour gave players the chance to experience a new country, build stronger team connections, and enjoy all that comes with an overseas tournament.

We’re proud of how all the players represented the club,  with professionalism and a great attitude.
A successful trip in every sense.

April Tournaments

Over the Easter break, our teams were in full swing, taking part in a variety of exciting tournaments across multiple locations.

From competitive Pro Cups to thrilling International Cups and our very own SETT Cups, our players had the chance to test their skills in a range of dynamic and challenging environments. They faced strong opposition from teams across Europe, including talented sides from Holland and Ireland, which provided valuable experience and a great level of competition.

These half-term tournaments are always a highlight of the season — not just for the football, but for the camaraderie, sportsmanship, and unforgettable memories created along the way. It's inspiring to see so many young players enjoying the game, bonding with teammates, and growing both on and off the pitch.

We’re proud of every team that represented us and grateful to all the parents and coaches who made it possible. Here's to more football-filled adventures ahead!

U13 Matty signs for Luton Town Academy!

We’re really pleased to announce that Matty has signed for Luton Town following a successful trial period.

Matty has been an absolute pleasure to have at PSA and has played a huge role in the success of our U13 team, which has been firing on all cylinders this season. He’s also made a big impact in the JPL matches, consistently standing out with his performances.

We wish Matty all the best as he takes the next step in his journey into academy football — we’re excited to see what the future holds for him!

U8 Rafe signs for QPR Academy!

From joining our Saturday Soccer School at just 5 years old with Coach Cam and working with Coach Tyler , to now stepping into academy life — a huge moment for a talented young baller!

The journey is just beginning... let’s go Rafe we are so proud of you!

Showcase Games

Our U7s had a fantastic time at the Stevenage Tournament and enjoyed every moment.

The boys put in a great performance across all their games, showing real effort, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout the day. It was a great opportunity for them to test themselves in a fun and competitive environment.

It’s encouraging to see more quality events like this giving our youngest players valuable experience and a chance to grow their love for the game.

Girls Showcase Games

It’s been a packed month of fixtures, with our U15s and U16s facing off against Oxford United, and the U13s and U14s taking on Peterborough in well-contested games. Our U10s were also in action against Peterborough, putting in another strong performance as they continue their development.

On the girls' side, our U13/U14 squad took part in a Talent ID event hosted by Oxford United, a valuable opportunity for players to showcase their skills in a high-level environment.

A strong month of football across all age groups, offering excellent experiences and continued progression for our players.

London Marathon 2025

Our Director Kieran, Operations Manager Lauren, and Chesham U18 player Fran took on the London Marathon — and absolutely smashed it!

What people don’t always see is the real journey: the early mornings, the late-night runs after long workdays, the commitment to keep going even when it wasn’t easy. The quiet sacrifices, the endless determination — it all led to this incredible achievement.

You are truly an inspiration to everyone at PSA. Your passion, resilience, and hard work remind us what’s possible when you never give up.

We are so unbelievably proud of you. Well done, team — you’ve done us all proud!
