October 2024 Roundup
As October comes to an end, it's time for a quick recap of our activities this month.
👇
PSA HOLLAND TOUR
What an incredible tour for our Under 9s, 10s, and 11s boys! They participated in one of Europe's biggest football tournaments, UFT - The Ultimate Football Tournament. Our teams faced off against some of the biggest clubs in football and even triumphed over Borussia Dortmund on penalties! To top it all off, they enjoyed a memorable tour of Ajax Stadium.
We are already looking forward to returning to Holland next year to take part in this fantastic tournament once again. The experience has been unforgettable, and we can't wait to make more memories with our talented players.

Showcase Fixtures
October was an action-packed month for showcase games at PSA. Our players participated in several exciting fixtures. They faced off against teams including MK Dons, Fulham FC, Chelsea FC, Northampton, Oxford United, and West Bromwich Albion. Each match provided valuable experience and highlighted the exceptional talent within our squads.
Tring U18s' Impressive FA Youth Cup Journey
The Tring U18s had an outstanding run in the FA Youth Cup, creating memorable moments that remind us why we love football. The team progressed through the 2nd round qualifying by winning a challenging match against Barnet FC with a 2-1 victory. Although their journey ended with a loss to Aldershot FC, the players' dedication and performance were commendable. We're already looking forward to coming back stronger next year.
Site Visits for College Students
Our college students recently had the opportunity to visit some remarkable institutions, gaining insights and experiences that will stay with them for a long time.
University Of Herts - Institute Of Sports
Our visit to the University of Herts' Institute of Sports was an eye-opener. The students explored the university's impressive facilities and participated in a variety of activities. The day concluded with an engaging training session led by Gareth Hamer, providing hands-on experience and valuable lessons for all participants.
Norwich City U17 College Festival
What an incredible experience our scholars had at the Norwich City U17 College Festival! Our students were invited to the Norwich Training Ground, they played at Category 1 facilities, facing top-tier competition. Beyond the excitement on the pitch, the students had the chance to meet Jake Swan, the Head of Regional Academy Recruitment at Norwich City. Jake shared his expertise on the journey to becoming a professional footballer, offering insights that were both inspiring and informative.
These visits have not only enriched our students' knowledge and skills but have also ignited their passion for pursuing excellence in sports. We look forward to more such opportunities in the future!
